The samosas were excellent. Line up was LOONG but they kept it moving really well.

10 samosas (veggie, chicken and mutton) for $3.57. Great prices!

Can't wait to go again and try some more.

Seems they've recently renovated! The place is clean, spacious, have an area by the window for you to stand and eat it seems. Service is quick and friendly even while busy. Biryani: packed tightly into the box so full that it looks like it'll spill over. Also comes with a whole hard-boiled egg, plenty of large chunks of mutton. SO GOOD. Mutton samosa seems hit or miss; if you're not lucky to get a chunk of mutton meat in one, it tastes nothing like mutton. Cheese samosa: cute little tiny thing, 5 for $1. YUM. They've also got fridges on the side full of their snack products if you feel like making some at home.

This location provides Sri Lankan meals, appetizers, short eats, snacks, curries, sweets, and more. They even have baked goods such as breads. They have a salad bar as well. I can only vouch for the short eats as I only got the samosas, sweet spring roll, and savoury veggie rolls. The veggie samosas and savoury rolls had the same filling and just provided in a different shell. They had a new item which was the sweet spring roll which was unique and quite nice; however, had a bitter aftertaste. I liked the renovated space. It was modern, clean, spacious, and organized. I ordered 30 samosas and 30 rolls which came out to be $30 which is quite expensive. If you go to other Sri Lankan food places, it would be much more cheaper (eg. $15-20). The taste itself is mild curry like taste and quite frankly, I've had better short eats. They had a wide variety of meal options such as curries, biriyanis, and more; however, there was not a lot of veggie options.

What's good about Canbe is the price. You get loads of food for the price you pay. The chicken biryani was jam packed in the box, and it feeds about 1.5 grown adults. I also got a tandoori chicken which looked tempting, along with couple mutton samosas.

I'm no expert but I have had my fair share of Indian food. The chicken biryani was very under spiced. It tastes slightly bland, and was just mediocre. The chicken pieces inside were dry and overly cooked to the point it was hard to chew. I had to have water to go with it. The tandoori chicken on the other hand was good. Tender, well spiced, and delicious. Well worth the money. Mutton samosas gave me a mixed feeling. The spiciness was perfect for a standard samosa and the spice was beautiful. But there was too much excessive dough that it felt like I was just eating deep fried dough half of the time.

Come before 12 and there is no line up.

My Orders: Chicken Rolls, Mutton rolls, samosas

    Pros
    + Pricing
    + Taste

    Cons
    - Service:
Nestled in a warehouse a few steps away from the parking lot, they mainly cater to go and don't allow for a lot of time for decision making. You line up, choose and pay. If you don't know what you want, it can be a bit intimidating.

I might be inclined to visit a restaurant if they open one. But otherwise, I don't think I'd return.
